Dear Cold Viruses Currently Inhabiting My Respiratory Tract:|
DIE PLZ K THX BYE
Edit: Thanks for the well-wishes, all!
Except whiskey == eww.
Ny-quil does okay. It tastes nasty, but I figure that encourages my body to not get well quickly so we don't have to drink any more of it.
I have been something of a single-malt scotch drinker for a few years now. It's nummy.
A couple of friends and I have been getting in to Bourbon of late, too. Not as complex but nice in its own way.
Of course, I also love the fruity drinks!
See, there's the rub. Beemer is physically incapable of drinking anything other than Bailey's Irish Creme, yet put a bottle in his hand and he'll drink it all himself. Since he's got such a weakness for it, he avoids it. I have only seen him drunk once in the five years I've known him, and I don't drink at all, so there's never any booze in the house.
So I'll ask you, what have you got that involves Baileys?
I must clarify, lest people think I'm unwell: irish creme is indeed tasty, and I will gladly drink plenty of it, but I've never actually drunk a whole bottle. (Over the course of a year or two maybe, but not all at once.)
The three occasions I've been drunk, it was on straight vodka.
You need to visit. I'll stand behind the tiki bar and give you tasty concoctions
Take a shot glass and fill it about 2/3 of the way with butterscotch schnapps. I like the "buttershots" one by dekuyper.
Then layer (pour slowly, down the side of the shot glass so that it floats on top of the butterscotch) baileys irish creme on top of it.
Drink all at once (as a shot).
Tastes like liquid candy!
