Managed to leave the house by noon, after one of the more unsatisfying nights of sleep I can remember. Stopped by the grocery store on the way to work and picked up pseudoephedrine, which helped considerably.
In the whole three hours I was at work, I managed to get some rudiments of content created for the powerpoint slides that people wanted by tomorrow. I also finished skimming through the background material on the candidates for new director. Which was pretty much everything I was hoping to accomplish today at work, anyway, so I guess that's cool.
Then I came home and took a three-hour nap.
Monkey is nearly better, and I'm considerably improved; I think that I should be pretty much all better by tomorrow morning, so that's all happy and stuff. Fortunately, tomorrow will be a Day of No Accomplishments, because we have a coffee talk, then the reception for the new Institute, then a meeting to discuss directors, and frankly, if I manage to get my email read I'll feel like I got something done.
Still, tired == me.
Also, the backspace key on this keyboard is starting to stick, which is annoying.
Thank all the powers that be for ibuprofin, that's what I say.
