detailbear reminded me of a serious game I had read about but hadn't tried yet: The Redistricting Game.

It's pretty cool. Gets its point across with some fun and a bit of challenge. It even seems to deal with politics in a fairly nonpartisan way. It's kind of a shame that gerrymandering is a lot more fun, from a gameplay perspective, than drawing up fair district boundaries...

I do feel fair warning is in order: for some reason, they don't use any apostrophes. Ugh!
