Collard Greens

Collard greens! I cooked them! For dinner.

I'm glad I checked the recipe last night and noticed that you're supposed to cook them for at least two hours.

Olive oil, some garlic, and the greens, and then chicken broth, and a few dashes of worcestershire and tabasco (which we didn't have, so I used cholula and later added a little vinegar). And then simmer it for two hours.

Also I made pork chops (boneless, 3 minutes each side, and I was quite pleased with how juicy they were) and caramelized onions and baked potatoes, because at Eberron on Saturday Jeff & Alice were all "PLEASE TAKE OUR PRODUCE". So now I need to make peach cobbler or something.

Oh, and last night I was over at the Floyds' (RFTG, 67 point-win with Uplift mercenaries, aw yeah!) and Rosemary thrust cinnamon rolls with maple syrup upon me before I left. Have I mentioned lately that the people I know rock? Because they totally do.

May Cause Headache

I lost a decent amount of gumption this weekend to nasty headaches. I mentioned this at dinner last night and Greg says "Yeah, it's your nose spray".

And I say, "Why do you say that?"

"Because there's a big sticker on the box that says 'May cause headache'."

"Does it?"

"Yes."

And after dinner I checked, and so it does! May cause headache, plus random other fun side-effects.

So yeah. Fear how totally observant I am.

Just now I took some analgesics at the same time as my nose spray. We'll see if that works better than waiting until the headache sneaks up on me...
