Collard greens! I cooked them! For dinner.|
I'm glad I checked the recipe last night and noticed that you're supposed to cook them for at least two hours.
Olive oil, some garlic, and the greens, and then chicken broth, and a few dashes of worcestershire and tabasco (which we didn't have, so I used cholula and later added a little vinegar). And then simmer it for two hours.
Also I made pork chops (boneless, 3 minutes each side, and I was quite pleased with how juicy they were) and caramelized onions and baked potatoes, because at Eberron on Saturday Jeff & Alice were all "PLEASE TAKE OUR PRODUCE". So now I need to make peach cobbler or something.
Oh, and last night I was over at the Floyds' (RFTG, 67 point-win with Uplift mercenaries, aw yeah!) and Rosemary thrust cinnamon rolls with maple syrup upon me before I left. Have I mentioned lately that the people I know rock? Because they totally do.
