Yesterday was our usual fall party, which we went to briefly before heading up to Loveland for Chris & Todd's anniversary party. Broccoli is only a buck a pound at the grocery store, so I found a recipe for stir-fry in How to Cook Everything (my copy of which is starting to disintegrate, foo) with shiitake that I threw together and that I was quite pleased with it.
Anyway, so we got to hang out for a bit and see Josh & Sara & Rona who are in town for a few days, and then we zipped up the road for the anniversary dinner, which was great. Tasty food and we had a fine time talking with Jeff & Michael and their friend John.
Today was what really wore me out, though, because Thomas & I ran the one-shot for Josh. Our other players were Jerry, Bryree, Ted, & Kate. I think it went really well. We may well run it again for the other folks like Jeff who expressed interest, so I won't say anything about the details, but it was fun. Thomas and I got really in sync, mentally, and that was cool. I had been wanting to work on something collaborative recently, and to GM a game, so it all worked out really well. Yay!
Oh, and I woke up at 7 this morning to thundersnow, even though I went to bed pretty late, which is probably another reason I'm so tired. Roads are clear now, though, and it's supposed to be back up into the 50s tomorrow...
