So this data, right? The incoming flood of 40 TB that my colleague Larry and I need to quality check, which we're desperately hoping to have at least a small portion of online in time for this meeting in 3 weeks where people will be, y'know, trying out the download process and all that?

I got an email this morning telling me that the first of it has been uploaded and is ready for checking.

So I log in to the remote machine, and it's not just data from one model, it's two of them.

And one of the modeling groups? Sent more than the minimal amount we were asking for.


I'm in shock. The data actually exists! Holy CRAP!
