Hamlet 2

So there was G&C last night because Joe Z. is in town, and an assorted plethora showed up, and it was delightful.

But more importantly! More importantly, I just got back from seeing Hamlet 2 with Bryree & Glen & Cara, and it's in bold for a reason.

Oh Em Gee, I nearly died. I hurt. I am still giggling.

The movie itself can be summed up with a line from the first fifteen minutes: "It was stupid. But it was also theater!"

The first 3/4 -- no, the first 9/10 of the movie is kinda funny, and there are some good moments, but really it's all just build-up for the punchline of the finale.

And that punchline is hysterical. It was one of the most stupid-awesome funny fucking things I have seen in a while. I laughed so hard I can't even tell you.

Let me put it this way: go watch the trailer on YouTube. At around the 1:55 mark, you'll know whether or not it looks like your kind of movie. If it does? GO SEE IT!
