Torchwood Disk 3! I'm starting to think that Gwen is an idiot. Enjoyable nevertheless.

I don't understand why Terry Pratchett's Tiffany Aching books are marketed as teen, though I suppose if it helps them act as a gateway drug to more people reading The Good Stuff, I can get behind it.

Sometimes I feel like kind of a nut for how much I edit what I write (and I edit everything), but today I got email from a colleague thanking me for arguing a particular point articulately, so I guess I'm doing something right.

I am ridiculously fond of Granny Weatherwax.

Yay Pratchett!

"Sometimes I feel like kind of a nut for how much I edit what I write..."

Proust would consider getting a single word right a successful day's work.

But then he took 20 years, working on it full time, to write a novel.

"A novel" is sort of an understatement, right?

You're a good editor! I know this from having you work over the text I wrote for the Mage LARP, lo these many years ago.
