Blizzard of '09... [Mar. 26th, 2009|11:53 am]
The sky is falling!

(Which, inasmuch as 'the sky' means 'atmosphere', and water vapor is part of the atmosphere until it starts precipitating out, is basically true, if not exactly what people usually mean.)

Lots of snow and wind. By the time I was ready to head off to work, traffic reports had Highway 36 jammed from Interlocken all the way to Boulder, so I decided to telecommute today.

Ran to the grocery story to pick up a prescription. (And some supplies, while I was there. And a snow shovel.)

I just got back, and indeed, just got an email: work is closing.

Greg got sent home early, but not early enough: he's currently stuck on 36 between I-25 and Federal. Again. Suck-o...

ETA: Yay! He's home!

I'm glad G got home okay. Stuck in traffic with snow is NO fun.

*looks around*
It's 70 and sunny here, same as yesterday.
I don't understand your problem.

So because of some CSAP tests being held *somewhere* in the college building, I was at work til 11:30am, it only took me til 12:15 to go 2 frakking miles (and getting stuck twice). Remind me again why I drive a cute little car?
