I'll admit, I got it mostly because it has Nick Frost in a minor role, but I was glad that I did; it's a good movie. It's plucky and charming and frequently unexpected.
It has a lot of little bits that it gives the audience credit for being able to figure out without being spoon-fed a detailed explanation, which I always appreciate. They also did some good thematic stuff that works mostly on a subconscious level, which I felt really added a lot. And Chiwetel Ejiofor can SING, dang!
Good commentary track, too; I would've ended up basically watching the whole thing again after I was done if I hadn't had to go to bed. Definitely recommended.
