Post-Tryptophanous Observations

Thanksgiving was great. We had turkey *and* ham, and everyone liked the veggie platter I did, particularly the asparagus and the baby zucchini (both of which I spent more on than I should have, but there you are). Along with my step-brother & step-sister and their kids, Joyce (their mom) also came up. Hadn't seen her in a while, so that was nice. I guess that's kind of uncommon -- divorced parents getting along that well. My dad and my step-father have gone hunting together, and my mom and my step-mom get along just fine, too. Another thing to be thankful for.
