Whole lotta nothin' [Sep. 8th, 2009|08:55 pm]
Beemer
I want to post something, because I have been too busy to post, but I don't want to post about how and why I've been busy, because frankly, it's boring. Pre-workshop meeting tomorrow, and then big workshop on Thursday! ZOMG when did that happen?! There, see? Boring. Done.

The problem here is that I haven't been doing very much since Jerry left besides workshop prep and downtime for recovery from prep. And the random interesting chains of thought I have while in the shower or driving to work or in response to some blog-reading I've snuck all require much too much context-setting and explanation for me to even contemplate posting about right now, because I still need to run off to the gym to work off the effects of my inhaler (steroid, for the cough -- working!) so I can get to sleep (comparatively) early tonight, because I have to be at work standardly early for three whole days in a row. *woe*

So yeah, like that.

But hey, I appear to have regurgitated two full paragraphs of more-or-less coherent (-ish) stream-of-consciousness prose here, so maybe that can pretend to be a post giving you some phatic Beemerly personality telepresence, in lieu of anything going on worth reading about.

I am so glad I had yesterday off.

I think the context-less (context-free?) chains of thought would be quite entertaining in a Beemerly way.

Also, four guys walked out on the beach Saturday dragging giant crosses. They were from some Baptist church and I had seen them the night before witnessing to some teens at the ice cream parlor. I felt their devotion to Jesus was suspect, given the crosses were on wheels, and hoped they would come talk to me, but, alas, they did not.

Days off are good things. When the workshop thing wraps up let me know, I always enjoy hanging out with you and Greg whenever I can. :)
