Four things [Apr. 4th, 2011|10:21 pm]
Our big workshop starts the day after tomorrow, so I've been working a fair bit, and tonight I reached that point where you know you have stuff you ought to do, but you also can tell that it would be utterly pointless to try and push to get it done. Sorry, no more push left.

Lovey sunny weather on Saturday -- I went for a walk in shorts and took my shirt off -- and then snow yesterday and cold and blowy today. Hello fickle spring weather; I didn't miss you at all.

I made beef stew for dinner tonight. I know it's ridiculous, but slow-cooking feels like some kind of magic to me. Ingredients + time = food, without doing anything to it in the middle!

Saturday night I went over to Chris's and played Innovation and liked it. It has a dogma mechanic; how can that be bad? Also, a quick game of Forbidden Island.

That 'push' point is where my whole life is right now, especially after last week, where I called in sick because I had too much work at home. Long vacation, long overdue.
