Last night, while taking the trash out -- in my bare feet, because it only needs to move from one end of the garage to just outside the garage -- I managed to step on a piece of metal and basically stab myself in the foot.

I now have a cut right in the middle of the ball of my foot. I washed it off good and smeared hella neosporin on it and managed to get a pair of criss-crossing band-aids to seal it pretty well (which was a pleasant surprise, since I usually have terrible luck trying to get band-aids to stick well on my feet), and I expect it will heal up fine, but it kinda hurts to walk on it. Like, a lot.

Worse yet, I've also got a bit of a heel split on that foot.

So I guess my point is, if anybody was planning on getting a stab wound in the foot? I recommend against it. I think you will be much happier if you do not emulate my example.

Because ow.
