I really need a "food" icon

I used up the Italian sausage and the zucchini in the fridge tonight. I was gonna combine a couple of the best google hits (as one does), but then I noticed that one of the recipes didn't use any tomatoes, and I thought that was novel, so I tried it as-is. There are a couple things to streamline, but I was quite pleased with how it came out.

I also made a panzanella to go with it, to use up some of the many cucumbers Mom brought us. I found a day-old loaf of that big flat rosemary bread at the store, which I thought would go well, and it did. My only complaint is that I wish recipe writers would say things like "by the way, this recipe originated as a way to use up stale bread, so if your bread is already on the crusty side, you can skip step 3." (Which I did, but it would be nice not to have to guess about it.)
