So, I may be speaking to a set of size zero (other than myself) here, but:
If you enjoy fanfic, and you enjoy stories about queer and polyamorous characters, and you've read and enjoyed Lois McMaster Bujold's Vorkosigan books, you should go read The World That You Need by Dira Sudis over on AO3.
It's, like, really good. Really really good.
Excellent writing, very much in the style of the source material. True to the characters (a feat made much more feasible, I'm sure, by the fact that in canon one of the major characters is bisexual and his wife is extremely open-minded, and now you know the basic premise). It even has interesting and appealing original characters! It is definitely and completely headcanon for me now.
Oh, and it's also totally all romantic and made me feel gooey and even tear up in a couple spots.
Nine chapters, each pretty much a complete story on its own. Mostly G-rated (only one explicit sex scene). And -- not complete? As in there may be more? *squee!*
So yeah, that's what I did with my commute today.
