Okay, we just had an AMAZINGLY good dinner at Dae Gee, which is a Korean BBQ place at 76th & Sheridan, and everyone in or visiting the Denver area needs to go there and do the grill table thing and get the all-you-can-eat platter and leave a big tip because WOW.

Yelp says it's the best restaurant in Westminster, and it is not wrong.

So, $18. For all-you-can eat of five different meats. (Brisket, pork belly, marinated pork, beef, and chicken.) Oh, and ribs on the first plate. Which are also awesome, just not all-you-can-eat. AND almost a dozen different nibbly side dishes. Which they will bring you as much of as you want. Let's see, there was: a salad, a spicy mushroom thing, cucumber kimchee, cabbage kimchee, savory fish cake, broccoli, marinated bean sprouts, potato salad, zucchini pancake, rice, lettuce wraps with bean paste for the meat, and I still feel like I'm forgetting something. And all of it was delicious. Plus pineapple slices to grill and rice punch with the check!

I think part of what made it such a satisfying meal is how many pieces there were. I mean, you'll end up full, but if you're grilling on the table you have to keep adding things and turning them and watching them to see if they're done, and there's all the little side dishes, and it just feels like this whole big long dining adventure by the time you're all done.

And, y'know, the service was friendly and attentive, and they kept our glasses full, and all that good stuff. Oh, and even though Jerry doesn't do spicy, there were still plenty plenty of options, and he was just as happy as I was. And did I mention it's only $18?

Go and eat and keep them in business forever!
