Resumes, weekend, satisfaction [Aug. 11th, 2015|11:26 pm]
So, let's see. Last week at work was noteworthy for doing not a lot other than reviewing forty-seven resumes for the Admin Assistant position that the token non-admin person on the hiring committee for. I'm side-eyeing HR for not filtering them a little better.

Friday night Jerry went off and did one of those locked-room escape puzzles while I went to a very nice party that Jason & Matt put on and ate much of tasty foods. Saturday I went and visited Grandma, and then Sunday was Bear D&D. Oh, and I finally found the dragon egg in my D&D side-quest!

Today I had two very satisfying things happen at work: first, I learned how to do Bayesian parameter estimation for trends. Woot! And second, I got the revisions back on that paper I reviewed back in late May and they followed ALL my suggestions and now it is much, much better. Excellent, even. Double woot!

I still owe a post on our new kitty, but I have copied pics over from my phone so that will be coming soon.
