Spent the last two days meeting (VERY productively) with some guys from Texas about possibly making a version of the Hurricane Landfall game customized for Galveston. So that was pretty cool. Went out to dinner with them and my boss at the Dushanbe Teahouse on Wednesday.|
Memo to myself: if you've never heard of a particular region's cuisine, there's probably a reason. I had the Tajik Plov (plov being, I think, a variety of rice) and it was... well, not bad, but certainly not something I'd order again. The teahouse usually has very good food, so I blame the dish and not the kitchen.
