Herding Cats, Fixing Cars, Dog Warriors

We had a staff meeting yesterday to work on our new mission statement.

I have a page of notes that consists mostly of little drawings of cat heads going in all different directions and a cowboy standing by ineffectively. Gah. I'm glad I was able to leave early.

It was, however, amusingly ironic to hear our director (a stately white-haired british woman) say "Now, you will tell us if you think it sucks, right?"

Today I took my car in for maintenance, and was pleased to discover that this one is cheap, it's the one in 10k miles that will be really expensive. But then I had to buy new tires, so it ended up being expensive after all. But they fixed the radio, so that's happy.

We finished off Hakkenden this evening. It was good, but for the couple episodes that had truly AWFUL art (each episode has a different animator). There's still a couple bits I don't get, though, so I'll have to get Greg to explain them, since he's watched the series many times and can keep everything straight.
