But the good news is that I'm done with the most tedious bits of the ad-hoc web redesign work (the rest is writing little scripts instead of doing stuff by hand), I got all the urgent "need-this-info-by-Friday!" stuff done, and I now have two assistants! We have two student assistants that will be helping me with finishing off the game. One of them is only sort of a student -- she actually used to work here and quit to go back and get her Ph.D. (despite being the PI on a million-dollar contract last year without it).
They both played the game yesterday and kept remarking how intersting and fun it was. This is what victory smells like.
And, even better, my tooth socket is healing up. (I could do without the canker sores that have broken out nearby, though.)
It is nasty cold and gray today. I wouldn't mind it as much if I hadn't had to wait twenty minutes for the shuttle at the park-n-ride this morning. I'm going home early today, but I'll still be carrying hours over to next week.
